With the end of the Brexit transition period on 31 December 2020, EU rules and regulations will no longer apply to the United Kingdom.

As per 1 January 2021 the Covid-19 EU entry ban for travelers from non-EU/EEA and non-Schengen countries will therefore also apply for British nationals from the United Kingdom. As a result, British nationals from the United Kingdom will not be permitted entry to the Netherlands for non-essential purposes.
