The department of public diplomacy, press, and culture is responsible for translating the Dutch and international policy to an American audience. The department aims to promote a better understanding of the Netherlands and promote the core values of Netherlands in the US. To this end, the department includes information on Dutch trade relations; peace, justice, and security; agriculture and horticulture; infrastructure and water; climate and circular economy; creative industries; and healthy living. The department promotes the core values of the Netherlands through events, campaigns, conferences, and collaborations. The department maintains contacts with American journalists and is the main source of information for Dutch correspondents in the United States.
