The minister plenipotentiary for Curaçao operates on the broad spectrum of the diplomatic relations between the US and Curaçao. As an attaché at the Royal Netherlands Embassy, the minister represents the government of Curaçao at official events and handles issues that range from the economic relations between the two countries to matters pertaining to the ongoing collaboration in the area of regional security. In addition, the minister covers international and regional organizations that bear relevance for Curaçao, such as the IMF, IDB and the World Bank.
