Political Department

The political department represents Dutch political interests in Ukraine. The department informs the government about developments in Ukraine’s foreign and domestic policy. Colleagues from the political department are concerned with EU integration, accountability, the MATRA project, human rights and cultural affairs.

Economic Department

The economic department facilitates Ukraine in strengthening its economy. Colleagues from the department help improve the cooperation between Dutch and Ukrainian businesses. Even during war time, the embassy facilitates Dutch business in Ukraine with the help of RVO and Invest International. Other topics that our colleagues from the economic department are working on include reconstruction and energy.

Argicultural Department

The Netherlands Agricultural Network team in Ukraine represents the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV) in the areas of Agriculture, Food and Nature and maintains intensive contacts with the local governments, the Dutch and Ukrainian business community, knowledge institutes and civil-society organisations.
