Women’s right and gender equality
The Netherlands aims to consolidate peace by supporting a more peaceful and inclusive society with respect for human rights. We do this by supporting the reduction of violence against women; harmful practices e.g., on gender based violence, child marriage, and menstrual hygiene management. A safe environment for inclusive and meaningful participation of Women in Peacebuilding will therefore be supported.
The Netherlands will support civil society (especially women led groups) in our strategic partnerships. Availability of Mental Health and PsychoSocial Support (MHPSS) services will be increased, including for children.
