The Netherlands aims to deliver inclusive, sustainable development through Food and Nutrition Security and commercialization. The Netherlands supports a climate smart, resilient food system that supports small-scale producers and the consumers; increasing income, nutrition, hygiene and resilience.
Farmers will also be encouraged to produce for the market. The Netherlands will support the creation of marketing conditions through building feeder roads and establishment of cooperatives. In all our (commercial) agrifood activities we will aim for youth entrepreneurship development and creating jobs for youth.
The Netherlands will support also the establishment of strategic donor partnerships based on
increased donor collaboration to maximise quality impact through creation of synergy between individual programs. The ultimate aim is to stable food-producing areas, which will diminish food deficit in the country.
