Last week, a delegation of more than 15 Dutch companies in the advanced manufacturing and semiconductor sector visited Singapore. They were led by Holland High Tech, the Brabant Development Agency (Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij or 'BOM' for short) and Oost NL.

The mission – coinciding with Vice Minister of Foreign Trade Michiel Sweers’ visit – focused on deepening trade and investment relations with Southeast Asia, and on jointly building more resilient and future-ready supply chains.

The Embassy convened an innovation breakfast networking session with the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association (SSIA) and organised a special networking lunch with Dutch companies and entrepreneurs based in Singapore.

The delegation had the chance to meet companies like ASM, VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (VSMC), Palomar Technologies, and Applied Materials during their time here.

Did you know that one in every 10 semiconductor chips worldwide are produced in Singapore? Singapore’s robust ecosystem, R&D capabilities and location make it an ideal partner for the Dutch high-tech industry.
