Audrey Goosen

Minister Plenipotentiary, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) in Geneva.
Audrey Goosen is the Head of the Economic and Development Division of the Permanent Representation and was appointed in 2023.

Biography Audrey Goosen

Before coming to Geneva Audrey was the head of division for Research & Innovation, Space and Atomic affairs at the Permanent Representation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Brussels to the EU from 2018 to 2023. 

Earlier in her career she was responsible for coordinating Netherlands EU Presidency on innovation at the Ministry of Economic Affairs & Climate in The Hague. Prior to this she served for five years at the European Commission DG Research & Innovation in Brussels (2010-2015). 

She started her career in the private sector and has received her M.Sc. in Business Administration at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. She has done projects abroad in among others the US (Yale) and Egypt (AUC). 

She lives with her husband and son in Geneva.
