Peace, security and stability

The Permanent Representation works to promote the interests of the Kingdom of the Netherlands within the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). The OPCW is part of the global system to combat the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, an issue that is one of the cornerstones of Dutch foreign policy. In addition, the Netherlands enjoys a special position as host country to the organisation.

The Permanent Representation is located at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague.
