17.1 Events

If a diplomatic mission or consular post wishes to organise a major social or other event, it is requested to notify the Ministry well in advance, preferably at least four weeks before the event, by means of a Note Verbale, specifying the location, date and number of guests expected. The Ministry will inform the relevant security authorities. With regard to further logistical issues or information on meeting local requirements, the mission or post is requested to contact the competent municipality/municipalities.
