Fred Duijn
Fred is our esteemed ambassador and the friendly face representing the Netherlands in the Republic of Moldova since April 2023. He is dedicated to strengthening the relationship between the Netherlands and Moldova, supporting Moldova’s EU accession process, and actively contributing to judicial reform efforts.
Maaike Keizer
Maaike Keizer arrived in Chișinău in August 2023. As our seasoned Deputy Ambassador, she inspires with her enthusiasm and dedication. Maaike primarily focuses on Moldova’s economic development and strengthening bilateral trade relations.
Ecaterina Valcu
As Policy Officer, Ecaterina manages a diverse portfolio that includes political reporting, project management in the areas of human rights, good governance, security, justice, and the rule of law. She also coordinates the Embassy’s public diplomacy and external communications.
Valerian Moraru
Since the Embassy became fully-fledged in 2023, the entire economic portfolio has been managed from Chișinău, with Valerian as the ideal candidate to serve as Senior Economic Affairs Officer.
Vadim Tabora
Vadim is our Consular and Administrative Officer, ensuring that all the Embassy’s operations run like clockwork.
Elena Christian
Elena serves as the Senior Judicial Affairs Officer, with her main responsibilities focused on monitoring the judicial reform process.
