Financial Support Application - Cultural Heritage Call 2026

Cultural Heritage Fund

Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Brazil

Looking to the Past, Building the Future

The Cultural Heritage Fund of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands supports initiatives in Brazil aimed at the conservation, documentation, sustainable management, and promotion of cultural heritage related to both the Netherlands and Brazil, in its tangible and intangible dimensions.

The relationship between the Netherlands and Brazil is marked by centuries of cultural exchange and nearly two hundred years of diplomatic relations. In 2026, both countries celebrate 200 years of bilateral friendship — a milestone that invites reflection on shared histories while encouraging new forms of cultural cooperation.

In this context, the Embassy encourages projects that investigate, preserve, reinterpret, and activate different expressions of Dutch-Brazilian cultural heritage, fostering dialogue with communities, researchers, artists, cultural institutions, and contemporary audiences.

This open call aims to support projects capable of strengthening cultural identity, expanding access to heritage, promoting knowledge exchange, and encouraging education, capacity-building, and community engagement initiatives.
