Ho Chi Minh City, 22 October 2025 – The Netherlands Pavilion at Viet Water/WETV Expo 2025 will showcase 17 Dutch companies and organisations specialising in cutting-edge water technologies, water management, and waste management solutions. The event will take place from 22 – 24 October 2025 at SECC.

In this three-day event, the Netherlands Pavillion will host a comprehensive program of technical sessions and presentations demonstrating Dutch expertise in sustainable water solutions and waste management. Key sessions include “Dutch Water Tech”, “Waste to Value”, “Waste Water Treatment” and “Capacity Building in the Water Sector”, as well as a briefing on Responsible Business Conduct named "The Ripple Effect: Responsible Business Conduct as a Catalyst for Sustainable Growth in the Water Sector”. Notably, a technical session organised by the Netherlands diplomatic missions in Vietnam, Royal Haskoning DHV and Vietnam Directorate of Dykes Management and Disaster Control of Ministry of Agriculture and Environment on “Innovations in Flood control and Climate Resilience” will take place at the Seminar Room of SECC. Dutch experts will share knowledge and information in other VietWater and WeTV’s international conferences.

At the Innovation Lounge of the pavilion, hosted by The Water Agency, a curated selection of six innovations from Vietnamese universities and early-stage start-ups will be showcased. This activity strengthens industry-academia connections and empowers academia leadership and real-world impact. Next to that, Heineken Vietnam hosts a booth showcasing sustainable water use.

2025 marks 15 years of Vietnam – Netherlands Strategic Partnership Arrangement on Climate Change Adaptation and Water Management. The two countries have built a robust 15-year collaboration spanning from government cooperation, knowledge institutions, and the private sector. This partnership has evolved from aid into strategic cooperation, delivering tangible results from the Mekong Delta Integrated Master Plan to nature-based solutions projects and technology transfer cooperations.

“Vietnam and the Netherlands share a trusted, strategic, and long-standing partnership in water management, climate change adaptation as well as sustainable agriculture," said Netherlands Ambassador Kees van Baar. "With businesses leading the charge for change, today's Dutch business delegation at Viet Water/WETV Expo 2025 stands ready to work together with Vietnamese partners, offering tailor-made innovative solutions to address “glocal” water and waste challenges."

Beyond technical sessions, visitors are invited to the NL Pavilion for engaging activities including screenings of the documentary "Mud Below, Sun Above”, offering real footage of the trash collection sector in Vietnam.

The Netherlands Pavilion is located at Booth E17, Hall A1, SECC - 799 Nguyen Van Linh, HCMC
