Singapore FinTech Festival 2025 - Singapore
12 Nov Singapore FinTech Festival 2025
The Singapore FinTech Festival will take place from November 12 to 14, 2025. Since its launch in 2016, the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) has grown into the leading platform for the global FinTech community. It offers a unique opportunity to network, collaborate, and discuss topics such as the future of financial services, government policy, and technology. SFF 2024 welcomed over 65,000 participants from 134 countries and regions.
In 2025, SFF celebrates its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of growth and innovation in FinTech. SFF welcomes the global community of policymakers, financial leaders, and technologists to work together on sustainable progress and future cooperation. The Insights Forum returns as a two-day event and will take place on November 10 and 11, 2025.
SFF is organized by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), and Constellar, in collaboration with The Association of Banks in Singapore. In addition to MAS, the Global Finance & Technology Network plays a key role in the success of the Singapore FinTech Festival. As co-organizer, GFTN brings together an international network of financial experts, tech innovators, and policymakers. Their contribution lies in facilitating partnerships, sharing knowledge, and connecting global players to develop joint solutions for challenges in financial technology. Thanks to GFTN’s involvement, SFF 2025 will have an even stronger international presence, offering Dutch companies a prime opportunity to form high-level partnerships and showcase their innovations worldwide.
Singapore has long been recognized as a leader in creating an excellent business climate, developing the financial sector, and boosting the fast-growing FinTech industry. As one of the most influential financial centers in the world, the government plays an active role in supporting and promoting the FinTech sector. The Dutch FinTech ecosystem receives special attention, thanks to strong economic ties between the two countries and the Netherlands’ international reputation as a pioneer in FinTech innovation.
In June 2025, StartupBlink published the Global Startup Ecosystem
Index Rapport 2025.
A notable development is that Singapore rose
to 4th place globally, a historic milestone and a clear confirmation
of Singapore’s leading role as an innovation hub in Asia.
Key takeaways for Singapore:
- Global rank: 4th globally. Singapore is the first country outside the U.S., UK, Israel, and Canada to enter the top 4.
- Total funding (2024): US$7.3 billion
- Annual growth rate: 44.9% (among the highest in the world)
- City rank: Singapore City ranked 12th globally, up 4 spots, with over 50% growth.
The report also clearly highlights the central role of FinTech in Singapore’s rise:
- Top global position: Singapore ranks 2nd globally in FinTech, with leading positions in financial services, blockchain, and virtual currencies.
- Government priority: FinTech is a strategic focus sector, supported by clear regulation, investment programs, and access to capital.
- Regional launchpad: With its infrastructure and location, Singapore is the springboard for FinTech companies targeting Southeast Asia.
- Strong
ecosystem: A concentration of talent, universities, investors, and
companies creates the ideal foundation for FinTech innovation.
