The Netherlands Agricultural Network (LAN) supports Dutch agricultural companies and knowledge institutes interested in doing business abroad.

Let's connect

Our colleagues are happy to help you!

The agricultural attachés and their teams work in the economic departments of 58 Dutch embassies and/or consulates and serve 79 countries from there. The agricultural attaché network is available for companies and entrepreneurs from the agricultural sector in all links of the chain: from propagating material (seed, animal feed) and primary products to end products, but also the processing industry, supply, technology, services, trade and logistics.

The LAN regional office of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands represents the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature in Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro and Austria and maintains close contacts with all relevant national, regional and local governments, knowledge institutions, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders. Special attention is given to veterinary, phytosanitary and food safety topics and related legislation

The LAN regional office advises on export-import possibilities, provides information on different agricultural sectors, organizes trade missions, assists in possible matchmaking, provides information on available financial instruments for investments. It furthermore organizes study tours/visits of farmers to the Netherlands, trainings of government officials in specific areas of interest and seminars/workshops in different fields of agriculture (dairy, horticulture, food safety etc.).
