To celebrate International Women’s Day on Wednesday March 8th, we kindly invite you to the opening exhibition of the portrait series Prominent and Promising Women in the EU. We are pleased to welcome the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola and the Netherlands Minister for Digitalisation Alexandra van Huffelen to deliver opening remarks.
The portrait series shows the state of women’s representation in Brussels anno 2023. It aims to inspire and invite for discussion on gender equality and inclusion in the EU and beyond.
The project is a collaboration between the Netherlands Permanent Representation and Dutch artist Carla van de Puttelaar. Amongst those who were so kind to participate in this project are President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, EU Ombudsman Emily O’Reilly, CEPS expert Tinatin Akhvlediani and many more…
