The Challenge

VEI recognised the challenges water utilities face in delivering sustainable water.  VEI is also committed to Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG6) of the United Nations: sustainable water and sanitation for everyone.

Our Solution

VEI fosters peer-supported partnerships among water operators worldwide, promoting the exchange of knowledge and skills to strengthen, sustain, and build resilience in utilities. Through these collaborations, VEI helps utilities seeking assistance by facilitating peer-to-peer sharing of expertise, capacity, and goodwill. The partnership promotes an enabling environment by fostering inclusive and equitable governance networks, and sustainable financing to ensure access to water and sanitation for underserved communities.
