At the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Wellington, it is part of the job to work together with colleagues from the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It has become a tradition to welcome our new colleagues at the Dutch residency, giving them and ourselves the change to get to know each other as we will surely work with them in future.

New colleagues from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are welcomed at the Dutch residence

Every year, we welcome our new colleagues of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Dutch residence. This year was no different. We were honoured to receive so many new colleagues and get to know them a bit better.

We were also proud to introduce them to Boyd Klapp, a Kiwi who was born in the Netherlands but has spent the last 74 years of his life in New Zealand. His experience on intercultural communication is invaluable to us all.

We look forward to working more with them in the future, on the many topics where the Netherlands and New Zealand cooperate, such as security, human rights, and agriculture.
