Did you know that the New Zealand All Blacks now have a touch of orange to them? We were proud to see Dutch talent get an incredible opportunity to play at the highest level, here in New Zealand. Fabian Holland (yes - that's his real name) played his second test match for the All Blacks this Saturday.

Holland first encountered the New Zealand sevens team in his hometown of Castricum, in the Netherlands, at just 11 years old. He moved to New Zealand five years later in order to follow his dream to become a professional rugby player.

We were happy to meet him shortly before the great game and wish him luck on behalf of the Dutch community in New Zealand. Sports is an important part of international cooperation and friendships. The Netherlands aims to be a global partner for inclusive, sustainable, and innovative top-level sports experiences.

Two colleagues of the embassy met Fabian Holland the day before the game.
