Dutch Embassy is getting ready to move

All good things must come to an end! We are leaving our current building later this year for a more sustainable chancery. Our team makes sure to stay updated on the construction works.

New chancery for Dutch Embassy

It is time for change after 47 years in our building at intersection of Ballance/Featherston. Later this year, the Embassy is going to move to the Bowen Campus. Currently a smaller, greener, and smarter chancery is built for us, and progress is being made quickly. We are on schedule to move in a few months.

This new location is not too far from our current building. We will be situated in the heart of Wellington’s Government precinct, from which we will continue to work to promote the interests of the Netherlands and the Dutch community in the Pacific, including New Zealand.

We are grateful to the Housing Department of the MFA in The Hague and to BLACK Construction in Wellington for helping us realise this sustainable, future-proof chancery.

The exact date of this move is not yet established, so keep an eye on our website to stay up-to-date.
