We are always proud to see Dutch companies bring their expertise to New Zealand, and Dutch Dredging is a good example of this.

Dutch Dredging signs multi-million contracts in New Zealand

Yesterday ambassador Ard van der Vorst received Kees van de Graaf and his team Baggerbedrijf de Boer B.V. - Dutch Dredging at the Dutch residence. Two multi-million euro contracts were signed, marking an important milestone for Dutch Dredging in New Zealand.

The contract discussed:
- The extension of the long-standing port maintenance contract through 2037, incl. Tauranga, Timaru, Taranaki, Lyttelton, and newly added Gisborne and Nelson.
- The new channel deepening project at the Port of Tauranga. Both contracts are a reflection of the strength of Dutch expertise working hand in hand with New Zealand partners.

“Niet lullen maar poetsen” is a typical Dutch saying that translates as “less talk, more action.” It reflects the Dutch attitude of rolling up our sleeves and getting the work done. That is exactly what Dutch Dredging will do in these New Zealand ports.
