We are grateful for our active network here in Lithuania. Our friends at Girteka Group brought us Alfa Bier from Limburg, the Ambassador’s home province, while Pon.Bike Lithuania presented their bikes which are soon to be rolling out of their newly built factory in Kėdainiai! The Ambassador also referred to the greening fleet of Girteka and the most sustainable mode of transport: our beloved bicycle. “These techniques show our mutual commitment as nations to the Paris Climate Agreement, to sustainable energy and to a healthy lifestyle”, the Ambassador said, while reminding the guests, who were taking cover from the rain, that for real cyclists “there is no such thing as bad weather, there is only bad gear”.

At the celebrations, the Ambassador,Jack Twiss Quarles van Ufford underscored the enduring Dutch commitment to supporting Ukraine in its fight against the Russian aggression, he stressed the excellent bilateral relations between 🇱🇹 and 🇳🇱, and highlighted 20 years of partnership in hashtag#EU and hashtag#NATO.

Furthermore, we were honored to receive the Lietuvos Respublikos Seimas Speaker Viktorija Cmilyte-Nielsen who is not only a chess grandmaster, but also a leading force in the support for Ukraine in so many ways.
