What a fantastic evening celebrating King’s Day at the Netherlands Residence in Vilnius! This year, we focused on the importance of defense and security as we look ahead to the NATO Summit in The Hague. In a world of growing uncertainty, standing together within NATO has never been more crucial to protecting our freedoms and values.

We were honored to have Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabija Grigaite Daugirde, Ph.D. as our guest of honor. A long-term friend and partner of the Netherlands. A special thank you to the talented Vilnelė ensemble of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense and Brassband Korps Nationale Reserve for their beautiful performances of Lithuanian, Dutch, and NATO anthems.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the amazing sponsors who made this event possible. Damen Shipyards, supporting the innovation and development of maritime defense; Thales, providing cutting-edge technologies to ensure a safer world; and Defenture B.V., with their advanced vehicles strengthening defense capabilities. We’re also grateful for Girteka Group, a leader in European logistics, and for SAPINCA | B CORP, offering a unique taste with their delicious drinks. Arbor Medical, ensuring better health and well-being through their expertise, and, of course, we can’t forget Alfa Beer, bringing the taste of Limburg to every toast.

A big thank you to the Dutch and German military who came all the way from Rukla with their field kitchen to serve green pea soup and showcase the Fennek vehicle—a great reminder of NATO’s unity—and we’re especially glad the leftover soup could be donated to Betanija to support those in need in our community.

Above all, thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating King’s Day and for contributing to the success of this special event. Together, we reaffirm the power of unity in defense, diplomacy, friendship, and continued cooperation within NATO.
