We are seeking a highly qualified professional with strong expertise in Central Asia—particularly Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan —and a proven track record in international relations to join our Embassy team in Astana. In this role, you will be responsible for in-depth analysis of domestic political and institutional developments in Uzbekistan, with parallel responsibilities for Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. You will be at the forefront of political reporting, policy advice, and stakeholder engagement, translating national developments into clear insights on regional and geopolitical trends.Working in a collaborative embassy environment, you will contribute to integrated policy initiatives across political affairs, human rights, economic affairs, and public diplomacy, helping to shape Dutch strategic engagement throughout the region. As Uzbekistan is expected to be the primary focus among the three countries, candidates with knowledge of Uzbekistan and/or an Uzbek background are explicitly encouraged to apply.
