Duemila30 is a three-day international film experience focused on impact storytelling as a means to stimulate and generate social and cultural change. The festival is organized by the association of young people Quindici19, and brings together young film makers, international movie industry professionals, social and environmental activists from around the world. Through screenings, workshops and activities, the festival aims at enhancing international cultural change on topics such as social inclusion, environment, health and wellbeing, human and civil rights.

From 8 to 11 June 2023 almost thirty young Dutch filmmakers joined the festival to watch, discuss and learn more on effective impact storytelling. Besides the many Italian speakers, five Dutch experienced professionals took the stage to share their work and experience:

  • Merel Gilsing, expert in children and youth cinema and education programmer

  • Kim Schonewille, Head of Education at International Film Festival Rotterdam

  • Maureen Prins, founder of Solar World Cinema, director of Filmplatform BROET and coordinator of Playgrounds Next Talent Programme

  • Nedra Arsenovic-Kenzari – Coordinator of talent development for the ROSE Stories - Academy.

  • Ibtisam Harrak – media creative ROSE Stories - Academy
