The Dutch Embassy in Indonesia extends its sincere congratulations to the Indonesian Ministry of Health on this important achievement.
The newly inaugurated wing, designed as an integrated care unit, is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and reinforces RS PON’s position as the country’s highest national referral center for brain and neurological health. Since its inception, the hospital has played a crucial role in providing comprehensive, accessible care for all segments of society.
In his remarks during the inauguration, President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto highlighted RS PON’s strategic role not only in delivering world-class care but also in training future neurologists and advancing neuroscience research in Indonesia. The development marks a significant step forward in the nation’s commitment to integrated brain care—combining medical services, education, and innovation.
The Netherlands is proud to have contributed to this advancement. Invest International provided a grant that supported the acquisition of advanced medical equipment for the hospital—further underscoring the strong and growing partnership between Indonesia and the Netherlands in the field of healthcare and innovation.
