Last week, the Dutch Embassy in Indonesia launched a dynamic two-day workshop focused on Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings—uniting key stakeholders with a shared goal: to make the built environment future-proof.
From energy managers and building owners to construction experts and government representatives, the workshop brought together a diverse group of professionals eager to explore sustainable solutions. At the heart of the discussion were two buildings in Jakarta, examined as potential showcases for sustainable transformation in the city.
The event was steered by NL Knowledge House and Nuffic Southeast Asia, with vital support from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), which shared best practices and successful strategies from the Netherlands.
As the workshop wrapped up, its insights and recommendations resonated beyond the event itself. The outcomes were presented at the annual IPMA conference—one of the most significant gatherings for Indonesia’s property and building management community.
A big thank you goes out to all participants for their energy, ideas, and spirit of collaboration!
