Netherlands & Indonesia Sign €300 Million Deal to Boost Economic Growth

In a significant move to strengthen bilateral ties, the Dutch public-private financial institution Invest International, on behalf of the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development, Reinette Klever, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Indonesia.

The landmark agreement of €300 million aims to accelerate cooperation in funding key public infrastructure projects across Indonesia.

The MoU focuses on vital sectors such as water management, agriculture, renewable energy, waste management, and healthcare, combining grants and loans to drive sustainable development.

Ambassador Marc Gerritsen, present at the signing ceremony, emphasised the crucial role Dutch innovation and expertise can play in addressing the priorities of President Prabowo’s administration. This partnership marks a promising new chapter for Indonesia’s growth ambitions.
