On 25 September 2025, the Dutch Embassy in Indonesia held the Information Session with the Indonesian Directorate General of Customs and Excise and the Directorate General of Taxes, in partnership with the Dutch Business Network.

This yearly event has become a cornerstone for Dutch companies operating in Indonesia, offering a vital opportunity to stay up-to-date with the latest regulations that directly impact their business operations. Beyond the briefings, the session fosters a unique space for dialogue and networking between the Dutch business community and Indonesian authorities.

This year’s session focused on two key regulatory updates—one concerning new import rules, and the other addressing core changes in the tax system. Experts from both Directorates delivered clear, detailed explanations, ensuring attendees could grasp the practical implications of these changes.

The atmosphere was lively and engaging, as companies eagerly posed questions and exchanged insights. The formal session naturally flowed into a networking lunch, where conversations continued in a more informal setting, allowing Dutch businesses and government officials to deepen connections and explore collaborative opportunities.

For the Dutch Embassy, this event exemplifies their commitment to supporting the business community by creating platforms that promote transparency, understanding, and partnership.

As regulatory landscapes evolve, such gatherings remain invaluable to fostering trust and cooperation between the Netherlands and Indonesia’s thriving economic sectors.
