About Holland Baroque
Holland Baroque enriches the musical canon with curiosity by approaching the score as an unfinished work of art. Led by artistic directors Judith and Tineke Steenbrink, they had innovative projects like Gospel Baroque with London Community Choir, Love is Crazy with punk diva Sven Ratzke and Silk Baroque with sheng player Wu Wei. Through extensive research, they also revived the forgotten 17th-century composers like Benedictus a Sancto Josepho. Combining knowledge, skill, imagination and playfulness, the group creates a new experience and finds its own distinctive sound.
