Indonesia’s new Personal Data Protection Law marks a major milestone in digital governance. But as experts and advocates point out, it’s not the finish line—especially when it comes to protecting vulnerable groups.

Recognizing the importance of inclusive digital protection, the Dutch Embassy in Indonesia is proud to support a new initiative in partnership with Southeast Asia Freedom of Expression Network (SAFENet) and LP3ES. The collaboration is part of a broader project focused on the intersection of the internet, civil society, and democracy.
