Before King's Day ceremony on April 29, the Dutch Embassy in Indonesia hosted a Media Reception, welcoming 20 Indonesian journalists from print, digital, television, and radio platforms for an engaging and informative afternoon.

The event offered a behind-the-scenes look at the embassy's wide-ranging activities, from political and educational initiatives to agricultural and cultural collaborations. Embassy staff shared insights into ongoing and future programs, laying the groundwork for continued media engagement and collaboration.

Ambassador Marc Gerritsen opened the reception by underscoring the importance of people-to-people connections as the foundation of the longstanding relationship between the Netherlands and Indonesia. He highlighted key upcoming initiatives, including an incoming trade mission, football diplomacy efforts, and a collaborative museum project aimed at preserving shared heritage.
