About Boaz
Singer-songwriter Boaz
Roelevink was born in the Netherlands, but his family soon moved to
the vineyards of Cape Town, where he discovered his early love for
country, blues and soul music. After his first guitar broke, he
busked on the streets to save for a new one, realizing then that the
stage was his calling. At seventeen, he reached the finals of the
Dutch show 'We Want More,' confirming that writing and telling
relatable stories through song was his true passion. He writes songs
about life experiences and broken hearts, but always with a twist of
hope. His debut album, "Keep It Simple,"captures the
stories of Boaz and his life's adventures.
