Hungary is well-positioned to serve as a logistics hub between Western and Eastern Europe. Furthermore, Hungary offers excellent opportunities for nearshoring and improving value chains. The country is also rapidly developing into a major European center for battery production.

Hungary offers opportunities for Dutch companies in the field of sustainable mobility and battery technology. These include:

• sustainable battery components and sustainable production
• reuse and recycling
• battery systems for freight transport
• battery systems as a sustainable energy supply charging infrastructure
• decentralized mobility solutions for energy, storage, and charging.
