The Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands made a documentary about the Dutch private sector in Ethiopia on national television (EBS) watched by >15 million Ethiopians. This was a great way to emphasize the big commercial Dutch presence here and the important trade relation between our countries.
EBS Documentary
The Dutch were among the first foreign investors in Ethiopia and with more than 100 Dutch companies, we are currently the largest investor from the European Union. The Netherlands is also one of the largest export destinations and one of the few countries with whom Ethiopia has a positive trade balance.

Ethiopia is often in the media but unfortunately usually in a negative way. Therefore, The Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands decided to make a short promotional film telling the positive story of Ethiopia including its historic economic relationship with The Netherlands.
