Economic Ties

In 2021, the United States exported $76.9 billion in goods and services to the Netherlands, an increase of nearly 17% from the previous year, while importing $47.4 billion from the Netherlands, an annual increase of 23%. As a result, the trade surplus with Netherlands increased to $29.5 billion, or 26% from the previous year, making the Netherlands the trading partner with which the US has the highest trading surplus.

The economic ties between the United States and the Netherlands supported 955,000 American jobs in 2021.
