The Malaysian Dutch Business Council (MDBC)

Established in 1996 by Malaysian and Dutch companies, the Malaysian Dutch Business Council (MDBC) is a private, well established, trade support organization with over 200 Dutch and Malaysian member companies. It is considered one of the most active councils in Malaysia.

The MDBC helps to forge and foster business ties between Malaysia and the Netherlands. The broader aim of the Council is to further facilitate investment by Dutch and Malaysian companies in each other's countries and to increase trade opportunities.

MDBC organizes numerous business and social events for its members, and as such ample networking opportunities. Furthermore, under its successful Student Internship Programme (SIP), the MDBC coordinates internships in Malaysia for Dutch student interns.

Both working towards strengthening the economic relations between Malaysia and the Netherlands, the economic department of the embassy and the MDBC closely work together, based on complementary capabilities and each of their respective added value.

For contact information please consult the MDBC website or the contacts and references list provided below.
