Small activities program

In Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan we work to reduce the impact of poverty through our Small Activities Programme providing small grants to implement sustainable income-generation projects.

The Small Activities Programme supports local initiatives aimed at developing income generating activities and social entrepreneurship among rural population to improve socio-economic status of the most vulnerable groups of the population and develop civil society in rural areas. In the past, for example, in Kyrgyzstan we supported projects on tourism development, handicraft workshops, bakery operation as well as cattle breeding and food processing in Tajikistan.

The Programme is open to registered non-governmental organizations from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

We invite project proposals on a rolling basis focusing on income generating opportunities for disadvantaged groups with a particular focus on social entrepreneurship.

If you are interested in the Small Activities Programme and would like more information about the application procedure, please contact Ms Irina Buchinskaya at irina.buchinskaya@minbuza.nl or phone +7 7172 555 456.
