Human rights: the Netherlands and Georgia
The Netherlands is your partner in defending human rights.
In our Human Rights work, we are guided by the Human Rights policy of the Dutch Government Justice and Respect for All .
In Georgia, our Embassy’s human rights focus is on equal rights for LGBTI’s, religious minorities and women. We also support human rights defenders from the region, and promote sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
In practical terms it means that we partner up with a Georgian NGO that implements a project in one of these directions. When selecting partner organizations, we give preference to such ideas that are both relevant to the Human Rights policy and innovative.
