15 Sep World Circular Economy Forum 2026

The World Circular Economy Forum 2026 (WCEF2026) will be a strong platform to advance Indo-Dutch collaboration on circular economy and resource-efficient innovation. The forum will be hosted in India in autumn 2026 by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, together with Sitra, Finland’s Innovation Fund.

For the Netherlands Innovation Network India, this is especially relevant from an innovation and process technologies perspective. WCEF is not only about waste management or recycling; the broader positioning around the India roadshow and side events also points to a wider discussion on circular solutions, future economies, climate action, and industrial transformation.

This makes it a relevant platform for stakeholders working on circular production systems, resource efficiency, materials recovery, industrial process innovation, and circular value chains. Based on the currently available official information, I would position it primarily around circular economy and process innovation, rather than specifically as a bio-based event

For whom?

  • Dutch companies working on circular technologies and process innovation
  • Organisations active in recycling, materials recovery and resource efficiency
  • Research institutions and universities
  • Policymakers, industry associations and ecosystem partners

Why participate?

  • Access a major global circular economy platform in India
  • Engage with policymakers, industry and innovation stakeholders
  • Explore collaboration on circular value chains and process technologies
  • Position Dutch innovation in India’s growing circular economy agenda
