Services Embassy and VFS during PPKM

Due to the PPKM (Restrictions on Community Activity), both the embassy and the Visa Application Centers (in Jakarta, Bali and Surabaya) were forced to close their doors temporarily.

The Consular Department has started to provide limited consular services at the embassy from Monday 26 July 2021. For the time being, the priority is to process the MVV applications for students who will be studying in the Netherlands in the coming year. If you would like to schedule an appointment, click here

VFS Global will also continue to process visa applications to a limited extent as of July 27, 2021. VFS Global is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The limited visa applications include seafarers, partners of Dutch nationals and humanitarian. No tourist visa applications will be accepted. Peak season MVV applications

Despite the COVID situation, hundreds of Indonesian students have chosen to study at a university in the Netherlands this year.

Traveling to Indonesia

Indonesia has been hit hard by the coronavirus. The authorities of Indonesia have therefore closed the borders to all foreigners temporarily.

However this does not apply to:
- Holders of Diplomatic & Official Visa/Residence Permit
- Holders of ITAS/ITAP
- Those with medical purpose, humanitarian reasons & active crew members

Please note that these travelers can enter the Indonesian Territory only after meeting certain requirements a.o. showing COVID-19 vaccination certificate or vaccination card (in physical form or digital form) as proof of completing vaccination in full dose.
