Our podcast 'Go Dutch, eh?' is back! In a special series of episodes, Ambassador Ines Coppoolse speaks with leaders in the fields of diversity and inclusion.

By embracing diversity and inclusion in our societies and teaching next generations why respect of the rights and freedoms of every individual is so fundamental, we can make a difference together and deliver on our promise not to leave anyone behind. Governments, knowledge institutes and civil society need to come together to address gaps of knowledge, capacity and political commitment.

Our first episode in this series focuses on discrimination and antisemitism. Right now, democracy is under pressure and a pandemic is causing fear in our communities. We need to make sure that the fear of the unknown does not lead to fear of each other and history has some powerful lessons to share with us.

Our second episode was released on the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT). 

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit vulnerable groups in our societies hard and we need to respond in solidarity to secure an inclusive recovery. This means we also have to listen to LGBTI communities and hear what their specific challenges and needs are. There is no one size fits all.
