COVID-test for entry and exit from United Arab Emirates

“Recently, UAE authorities announced that as of August 1, 2020 a COVID test taken prior to departure to UAE, will be required to enter the UAE. However, it seems that some Airlines now already ask their passengers to present the test results before allowing them on a flight to the UAE.

The COVID-test should be performed by a UAE accredited testing facility and should be taken within 96 hours before departure.

UAE-recognized testing facilities (a.o. in the Netherlands), can be found at: https://screening.purehealth.ae/

UAE authorities have asked the Netherlands embassy in the UAE to recommend a number of other medical institutions in the Netherlands that should be able to perform the necessary tests. Once these agencies are approved by the UAE we will inform you on the website and social media.

As of August 1, 2020 a negative COVID-test, taken within 96 hours before departure, must also be presented when traveling from the UAE to any foreign destination. ”
