Elderly care workshop | 19 March 2020
This international workshop is organised by Forum för Health Policy in collaboration with the Embassy of the Netherlands and Switzerland to discuss management, technology development and user influence in elderly care in Sweden, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Elderly care in three countries - what can we learn?
Demographic developments put great demands on the functioning of elderly care throughout Europe, with challenges in funding, long queues for special housing, slow development in the introduction of new processes, new technology and user influence.
During this afternoon we will discuss the latest developments and share best practises together with:
- Henrik Jordahl, Professor Public Economics and the Welfare Sector at Örebro University School of Business, wrote a research report on managing elderly care
- Henk Nies, director at Vilans and Professor of Organization and Policy in Long-term Care, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands
- Dr. Andrew Paice, Switzerland, Head of Ihome Lab.
