Opening of the EU Climate Diplomacy Week 2019 at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands

On 23rd September, the EU Climate Diplomacy Week 2019 (EU CDW) was opened and hosted at the Dutch Embassy.

From 23 September to 6 October, youth and climate actions and events were being held to foster dialogue and cooperation on climate change. Movie screenings, photo exhibitions, discussions, a podcast session, talkshows, cooking demos and many more activities were on the agenda. The official launch of the EU CDW 2019 was opened by Ambassador Lambert Grijns and also present, Deputy Ambassador Ardi Stoios-Braken. “We need to work together, not only governments but also academics, NGOs, international organizations and the private sector. The youth, young people have an important voice that is being heard.” Ambassador Lambert stated in his opening. At the Embassy, we promote sustainability through several initiatives as separating our waste, urban farming and reducing the usage of single use plastic.
