Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands, visited Jakarta
7 October was the day we welcomed the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte to Jakarta. The main goal of his trip was to reaffirm the strong bilateral relationship between our countries.
He started the morning meeting with Dutch companies during a breakfast session, and an open discussion with NGO’s. After that he was invited by President Jokowi to meet him at the palace in Bogor. After fruitful discussions, he followed to the Maritime Vocational training center to learn more about the projects, and experienced the simulators. He joined a discussion with more than 600 students, alumni, journalists, businesses etc, where the audience were free to ask him any question.
The Embassy was very pleased to also welcome Mark Rutte at the Embassy, where he officially opened the moderated building, attended KLM’s 100 years anniversary exhibition, and closed the day with a network dinner.
