Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, will visit Indonesia on 7th Oct 2019
The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, will visit Indonesia on 7 October 2019 during a one-day stopover on his way to Australia and New Zealand. The purpose of his visit to Indonesia is to reaffirm the strong bilateral relation between Indonesia and the Netherlands. Mark Rutte has also visited Indonesia in 2013 and 2016 as Prime Minister.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will meet the President of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Joko Widodo, to discuss the current state of bilateral relations and how to strengthen them for the future. He will also meet with NGO’s, Dutch businesses, and visit the Maritime Vocational training center.
Moderated by Mr. Dino Patti Djalal (Head FPCI), Prime Minister Mark Rutte will discuss developments in Europe and Asia with students, journalists, and others. He will also formally inaugurate the modernized Netherlands Embassy and Erasmus Huis, attend the celebration of the 100th anniversary of KLM and join a connectivity event with Indonesian alumni of Dutch universities.
