About Dutch Days in Hong Kong

Dutch Days in Hong Kong is a series of events held every year in April in celebration of Dutch culture and innovation, presented by the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and co-organized with Asia Week Hong Kong. The programme will contribute to stronger people-to-people ties as well as foster cultural and intellectual exchange between the Netherlands and Hong Kong.

This year’s festival, the fifth anniversary edition, consists of a diverse programme of events and activities in the field of art, culture and innovation, taking place all over Hong Kong throughout April. The month of April is selected for the Dutch Days in Hong Kong as it coincides with the festive celebrations of King’s Day in the Netherlands on the 27th. The programme is a collaboration of many partners in the Netherlands and Hong Kong.

Dutch Days in Hong Kong 2019 features a museum lecture series, exhibitions, innovation talks, a film festival, family fun activities and classical music performances. We aim to weave an engaging dialogue for the sharing of ideas and best practices between artists, the greater public, students, the innovation sector and art patrons.
