Young Professionals Event V

On 11 April, the fifth edition of our Young Professionals Events will take place! This time we'll discuss one of the hottest topics facing professional organisations today: diversity and inclusion.

Many organisations, from business to the public sector (including the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs!), pay increasing attention to the make-up of their staff and the dynamics in the workplace. A balance of gender, ethnicity, sexuality and physical ability (among other factors) within an organisation is seen as essential. But what does diversity really mean? What are its benefits? And how can we actually contribute to an inclusive working life?

This night, we'll discuss those questions with various experts from academia, business and civil society. They'll pay special attention to Sweden and the Netherlands: what can we learn from each other? Which challenges do these open, progressive societies still have to overcome? Of course, there'll be ample room for your contributions as well! The programme will be published shortly.
