Dutch military train Canadian Armed Forces medical personnel for their deployment to Mali

On request of the Canadian Armed Forces, a group of Dutch medics and flight nurses provided the Operational Readiness Aeromedevac Course (ORAC) to Canadian military doctors, flight nurses and medical specialists.

This two-week course prepared the Canadian soldiers for their upcoming deployment to the United Nations mission in Mali, Africa. Canada is providing (medevac) helicopters to this mission while the Netherlands deploy Special Forces for intelligence gathering. The already good cooperation between the Netherlands- and Canadian Armed Forces got even a step further.
